glasses was a security issue since pixel 4xl where you could open it with closed eyes (so during sleep) so they forced it for opened eyes. Imagine you sleep (or d) and someone put your glasses on(or you already have them) and unlocks your phone....

The Brainwavez ones are absolute garbage. I ended up getting the WC gel pads, which is made from a much higher quality fabric that will not peel off like fake leather.

I have seen MANY reviews on the nano textureed display where users said it damaged the tip of their Apple Pencil's. Apple Pencil is way too expensive for damaging it that way.

After having the M4 iPad Pro 11 for about a month now, I realized that I will still prefer it to run iPadOS. There's this illusion that it should run macOS because of the keyboard and mouse support, but everyone should take note that the iPad Pro only comes with a touch screen by default. And at its current state, Apple has perfected iPadOS to be used on this touch screen. People should really stop hoping for Apple to put macOS on the iPads. Apple is most likely working on a touch-centric version of macOS now but pretty sure that will never come to the iPads. Probably the next thing we can hope is for Apple to allow VM apps/ARM64 OS emulators to be published on the App Store.

Love your video! Also with your phone, the software is not limiting it to 80% per se. It limits it to charging beyond 80 during your non-peak times to prevent it from sitting at 100% when it isn't optional. It uses your charging behavior to deem this time frame. This means it will charge to 100, just at the right time. Old Apple Employee here!

Can you use them as regular headphones for music?

Nice review. I really like both these phones. I use Android as well as iOS and the smaller iPhones have long years of os and security updates but I can get some android phones with 3.5mm headphone socket and sd card a lot - like the Sony series but the new 5vi is expensive and previous ones aren’t great for os and security long term support.

This product is a godsend for me, as the zero blue light is incredibly rare in the current market. Night Shift on iPad or other “amber backlight” still emit a fair amount of blue light I’d like to avoid. I’m happy to pay the $700+ price for this alone. It’s interesting to see how this device can be easily criticized for other aspects and compromises.

Launch day iPhone 15 Pro here with 100% battery health at 221 cycles. I have been using the 80% limit most of the time, so I guess it does have a small effect at least 😅
